I have been blessed in my life by my fellow humans, the stars, the moon, and the creatures, critters, flowers and leaves of the natural world. All of these have been grace notes* to this amazing life journey I am on.
Teachers, poets, friends, family, horses, dogs, cats, eagles, owls, hawks, doves, sheep, deer and elk have journeyed with me and added to my life, graced me with wisdom, humor and love. Domesticated and undomesticated, they have flown my my side, lifted me onto their backs and consoled me with their fingers, flowers, fur, feathers and manes. They have met me in the field where life is too full to talk about and stayed there with me, forever burnishing their gifts into my heart.
Here they bring me reminders of who I am, of the beauty that is around me daily. They remind me to keep my eyes open to what is right in front of me and to keep my heart gentle, to not give up or give in to the fears and frustrations of every day life. These guides whisper to my heart over and over, to wake up again, to give it a try.....
